On Monday August 5, 2019 Calhoun County dedicated six new fire trucks that were purchased as a result of a $1.5 Million donation by Formosa under a tax abatement.  The fire trucks were recently deliver to the volunteer fire departments of the rural communities of Olivia-Port Alto, Six Mile, Point Comfort, Magnolia Beach, Port O'Connor and Seadrift.  All trucks delivered are in service.
