On June 8, 2023, Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas was recognized with a Caring for Texas Award from the Texas Chemical Council. The Caring for Texas Awards Program was established by the TCC Board of Directors in 1998 to promote continuous improvement in community involvement, emergency response and sustainability by TCC member companies. The program recognizes TCC member facilities that achieved exemplary results and demonstrated commitment to their employees and community. Formosa Plastics was one of five companies with more than 500 employees that was recognized for its commitment to continuous improvement in community involvement, emergency response and sustainability.
